FLEMINGS TAKES WEEKLY REGION 5 HONOR

Roderick Flemings, a 6'7" sophomore from Dallas, averaged 31 points, 16 rebounds, and 5 assists as Weatherford remained unbeaten in conference play by beating SWCC and Collin.  Flemings, a transfer from Oklahoma State and the University of North Texas, also added 4 blocks and 4 steals against Collin

OKORIE NAMED WJCAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Nick Okorie, a 6'0" sophomore from Houston, TX and Kempner High School, was named the conference player of the week for the second straight week.  Okorie averaged 26 points in a loss to Odessa and win over NMMI, making 9 three-pointers in the two games.
