Players of the Week - January 21-27

WALTON WINS REGION 5 HONOR

Nicole Walton, a 5'8" freshman from Tulsa, OK, averaged 20.3 points, 4 steals, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists for McLennan in wins over Temple, Cisco, and SWCC.  She shot 20-32 from the field on the week, including 11-20 from three-point range as the Highlassies stayed tied atop the NTJCAC standings.

COMBS NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK FOR NTJCAC

Shondria Combs, a 5'4" sophomore from Temple, averaged 12.7 points, 8.3 assists, and 8 rebounds as Temple defeated SWCC and Grayson but fell to McLennan.  Combs contributed a double-double (14 points, 11 assists) against SWCC.
